ACTIVITY DETAILS

In the morning our buses collect the participants from their hotels and drive them to meeting place where the jeeps are departured from. The lunch will be served in one of the villages at the Toros mountains.
You will enjoy driving on the plains of Antalya through orange orchards and picturesque fields, on your way crossing mountain rivers and woods. In these paradise valleys you will come across small, untouched villages.

Pick up from the hotel for meeting the other participants.
First option:
Drive to the National Park with the convoy. Exploring the beauties of Koprulu Canyon Natural Park, through the forest racing against people who are rafting. Lunch will be served under the trees. Swimming in the cave or at the beach... who will drive back to town now...
Second option:
An adventurous trip over Taurus Mountains, 1.200. m above the sea level. The convoy climbs up through the forests and little Nomadic villages. Driving through the picturesque passes over the valleys where the fresh spring water coming out with very exciting panorama. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant.
Transfer to the hotels at the end of the tour.

WHERE IS THE KOPRULU CANYON NATIONAL PARK ?

Northeast of Antalya, at the turn off for Tasagil and Beskonak, is the scenic route that leads to the Koprulu Canyon National Park. The twisting road crisscrosses over mountain streams and passes through virgin forests. It is often a slow drive as the view at every turn is more beautiful than the last. The park, 92km from Antalya, is a valley of wild beauty rich in flora and fauna. The canyon stretches for 14 km along the Kopru River and is 400 meters deep in some places. Fish restaurants dot the rest areas. The Roman Oluk Bridge, which spans the canyon, and the Bugrum Bridge over the Kocadere stream, are engineering feats of antiqulty. From this park you can make two possible excursions to the ancient city of Selge and to the Dedegol Mountains. Dedegol Mountains, the highest peak in this mountain range rises to 2,992 meters.

WHERE IS THE TAURUS MOUNTAINS ?

The Taurus (Toros) Mountains are the Westernmost branch of the great mountain chain that stretches across all of Asia - the Himalayan mountain belt. The Turkish section of this massive mountain range follows the Southern border of Anatolia and is itself made up of four major sections, the Western, Central, Southern and Southeastern (Taurus) Toros ranges. The highest peaks rise out of the Central and Southeastern branches, a stretch of mountains which are rugged, magnificent and arduous to climb.
